Indica Sativa Trade festival : Bologna hemp fair
Indica Sativa Trade Festival will take place from 12 to 14 May 2017 in the city of Bologna, in the Unipol arena, one of the largest event spaces in the country, with a capacity of 17,000 people.
The show will focus mainly on hemp cultivation. It will be an opportunity to discuss several topics, such as research on molecules of interest, creation of new industrial varieties, and discover the latests technological advances in the field of hemp cultivation in Italy. 2500 hectares of land are indeed used today in Italy for hemp cultivation, against more than 15,000 hectares in France.
Horticoled exhibition stand

The hemp fair
Hemp is an ancestral product whose many properties prove beneficial in various uses. Very effective and recommended as sound and thermal insulation, and often used in textiles and fabrics, hemp is a resistant, durable and natural material. In the diet, hemp can be used in brewing beer, making oils or flour.
Hemp field in Italy
Cement or bricks made from hemp have a very good longevity (about 100 years) and prove to be the most economical construction equipment to this date.
In France, current legislation allows farmers to grow hemp varieties that have a THC titration of less than 0.2%.
Hemp is grown for both its fiber, the hemp, and its seeds.
Hemp shives : mainly used in stationery and also in plastics. It is also this fiber which is used for the design of textiles, marine ropes, and which are used in construction. It is also used for horticultural mulching and animal litter.
The seed : you can find it everywhere, in the human and animal food, especially for its proteins capacity, vitamins B, C and E, omega 3 and omega 6.
